Yesterday was truly the perfect day.....one of my best birthdays....the air seemed to have just good vibes hanging in it:) And likely the weather shifting so intensely helped! It was GORGEOUS out there......my favorite weather.....70 and sunny! I had a slow morning.....opening my gift from my mom and dad and it was so so thoughtful.....a salon gift card to where I go to get my hair done....and an awesome mug:) Then I worked out......and got outside to start mowing and taking care of the yard......then off to Lowes to get some flowers for my front porch and deck......one of my favorite things to do:) You know my Venus and all lol;-) and everybody in Lowes was in a great mood, the energy lovely.....I even flirted a little with a guy in passing, glancing at his finger to ensure he was single and he was;-) it is a rare event around here to find an intriguing fella lol:) Then I came back and potted everything and headed to Shohola Falls.......it was amazing.......like standing in a painting......truly.......and I said a prayer........one of gratitude for the life I get to have now.....just immense gratitude.......soaking in all the goodness among the trees......then I came back and did some weed whacking......and got ready for my friends to come......and we just had the best time......just chatting...........and everybody had fun......lots of laughs and interesting conversation.....my favorite....and then a fire last night.......the stars were amazing and still that moon though!!!......and two of the women that came ended up being women I haven't known long at all.....but they are already so deeply in my heart.....and it goes to show you have yet to meet people always in this life, that you will love fiercely and will love you:) And I am loving my new connections and the people that are coming into my life.....people I can be me with, and people that I invite to be themselves too......So yeah.....just a splendid day.....my kids called and I was mowing and missed it:( and they left a message, they had stuff going on too yesterday so we didn't connect fully but it was OK......and I look forward to celebrating with them when they come back.....I got cheesecake, my favorite cake:) Mads is a fan too so she will be excited:)......and as for today I think church is in order......and then a hike, and I have some school work to do......I am just really really grateful.......for all of it.......and the light and love that has found me......a blessed woman every day.....Enjoy this gorgeous day everybody:)
