Matchmaker........

Awhile back a FB friend had posted something about seeking women that were tired of the dating scene or traditional methods......and I had messaged her curious as to what to she was offering, because I trust her.....and she introduced me to Tawkify.....it is a matchmaker based dating service......she was offering a free account and opportunity, so I thought nothing ventured, nothing gained right:) So I filled out the profile and went about my life.....the service matches your profile to prospective matches, and then sets up the date and the details......a true blind date in every sense, then you just show up! So that was several months ago.......I haven't thought much about it since......then the other day I get a text alert saying that they may have found somebody for me and that they wanted to set up a zoom meeting to interview me and get more information......so again I thought, how exciting, an adventure awaits:) So I set up the zoom and had it yesterday afternoon.......the matchmaker was lovely and we connected right away.....however in their system the area I am in keeps defaulting and coming up in Vermont......so the fella she thought that may be of interest lives in Vermont, so it was a no go LOL:) BUT we had the opportunity to do the screener and she asked me some really powerful questions......ones I hadn't thought of before.......like would I date somebody of a different religion or no religion? College educated or not? Different ethnicities? Kids or no kids? White collar or blue collar or both? And it was interesting to think on all of them, sort of in the moment and proceed......I tried to not put many boundaries on it, and keep it open.....being willing......my hard no was if they smoked......I don't want to be with somebody that smokes......and I also felt that if a person wasn't active in their day to day we likely wouldn't be a good match.....but other than that I kept myself pretty open.....and it was a nice experience........I wasn't hugely disappointed as I am truly enjoying the ride and not putting too many expectations in too many places.......knowing that things unfold as they should each and every day......so it was a fun little side adventure! It also seemed like a fun way to make extra money.....this woman did it full time......but it can be done in any capacity.....so I kept that in mind too......and now well I just wait......wait for the universe to do its thing......trusting and being amused along the way:)
