So I had my zoom yesterday to do the final screening before a date could be set up.....I got to learn some more about the mystery man lol:) However still no picture or name, big intrigue ;-) But I really find the process of Tawkify to be pretty fascinating and also understand why it is a step abovc most swipe right sites......he is paying for a real service.....somebody on the other end of the screen matching profiles, and getting to know him well and then working with potential dates on the other side......we have a lot in common......the matchmaker clearly likes him a lot, and knows him fairly well from working with him, and had many positive things to say about him.....he had left a few questions for me to answer.....my answers matching his own.....most of what I learned of him was in line with the things that I seek......and the more the matchmaker and I talked, the more sure she was that he and I would have a great date, and that it was a good match.......so we left the zoom with her intending to reach out to him, and see if he wanted to go forward with the date.....I gave some available dates I had, this weekend, and then a couple of weekends from now.....After I got home yesterday, I got a text from the matchmaker that we have a date for this Saturday night!!! Fun right:) And then as an aside I had texted the matchmaker to see what his sign is.....always curious about such things;-) and he is a Taurus......like me:) Tauruses traditionally are my people......I normally get along well with them, and get them, and they get me.....so I felt like that was another little encouraging nudge.....that even if a love connection is not made, that perhaps a friendship will be! Nothing to lose for sure..... this site also does background checks.....so that is an extra little layer for me.....she said he is in healthcare and has his own practice in the Scranton area......doctor, dentist, chiropractor??? Hard to say lol:) Likes to hike and be outdoors, and exercise......open and intuitive.....aligned in many of my views and viewpoints I hold.......etc etc......so Saturday night we go for drinks and appetizers at a restaurant in Scranton, and if all goes well, we will be staying for dinner.....the matchmaker is hopeful that will be the case......so since the cosmic wind brought this experience to me very organically, I am going to give it a go! I am not going to talk myself out of it between now and then lol:) Force myself to do hard things.....and if I am being honest......dating may be the hardest thing of all for me in this process.......so I guess it is a good thing, I can do hard things:) Send me good vibes, I am excited!
