Life coaching that is:)......I had my session yesterday with my new client......She is an older woman that has had such an interesting life......so many ups and downs and interesting stops along her journey.......and it made me think that we all have such powerful stories.....and the value comes in being heard in our story......having people validate that story and listen deeply to it......and that is the beauty of life coaching.....it is a place to create that sweet spot.......that place to be heard and listened to deeply......it was also lots of fun because we had a lot in common in many ways, and our life philosophy if you will, was also in line.....it was a lovely session and I enjoyed speaking with her and getting to know her......I am excited to see the places our journey will take us to.......besides the connecting to the story and my desire to learn the person's tale.......I also enjoy hearing a person find their own "aha" moment through the questions that I am asking or the mirroring of what they are saying that I am doing......sometimes it is that one question that is the game changer and I need to trust my intuition to be led to ask just that......it is the same feeling I get when I am teaching and they get it! ;-) and the process is so interesting in that there is not just one end result that could come from any session.......based on the questions asked it could go in quite a few, and maybe end in different conclusions......different outcomes.......different action steps.......so it is sort of again like choose your own adventure.......you never know what part will resonate in a moment......and those moments come from the person finally being able to "hear" themselves......hear the wisdom they possess loud and clear.......I am looking forward to walking in other's stories with all kinds of people, and building my life coaching business......because when I am coaching it just feels right.....deep in my gut....... my intuition nodding at me and throwing me a wink.......I remember feeling the same about teaching for a lot of years.......and still do from time to time......that moment when time stands still, and a voice whispers "this is why you are here!" there is nothing like feeling that and getting that validation......and now I have found it again, in all of its strength and power......and it occurred to me yesterday too that I will get to meet so many new people , so many interesting people along the way......that is exciting to think of......it is all exciting to think of, so I am feeling grateful this morning that I got to do my thing yesterday and look forward to take this momentum and run with it! :)
