I write about dating from time to time....and spend some energy musing at the challenge of it all, when there are a plethora of single folks out there......looking to date:) And yet.......and I wrote of mindset and being intentional about shifting my mindset surrounding it some.....since I joke endlessly about it all.....I set a goal at the beginning of this year to have this be the year I get out there in the dating pool some and swim around;-).....and I have some.....accomplishing some of my goal, but the truth is I am interested in exploring it some more......so my friend reached out about her dating platform that I wrote about the other day.....and I think I may explore the matchmaking piece.....because the cool part is I don't have anything to lose.....I only pay if I am matched with a viable dating option that I get to see beforehand, and learn about beforehand, no blind dates....... and if I don't like the person, or think it won't work if we are matched, and am not feeling it...... then I wait till I feel that, and that is the case, with no cost to me.....so I think I may be going ALL in....to check it out, and be open to the possibility and serendipity:) It came into my experience by random means......it feels as if I should explore it.....and well.....I am:) Fully......not halfheartedly.....believing deeply that MY person.....or THE person.....could be making their way to this platform too......I told you I was a hopeless romantic, in spite of myself lol:) And ya never know right?? And well matchmaking certainly takes the seriousness of online dating to another level.....one that I can appreciate......not a free site like some of the rest of FB dating, which is like a vortex of sorts lol:) So people finding their way to this platform are as serious as I am in a certain sense.....and I think at the very least....participating in the process of being vetted.....and really getting down to the nitty gritty of what I want.....getting honest about that, and more clear by way of working with somebody in that process will be beneficial.....clarifying.......and well if nothing comes my way then OK.....and if it does well then there is that too....and the learning of the process, and being able to blog about it all, and experience something new is always worthwhile for me.......so this is nudging at me.....and I am going to acknowledge that nudge and follow through.......stay tuned.....I will be setting up my online interview soon! :) And begin the process!
