Yesterday was a quiet and delicious day.....my kiddos were still at their dad's house until 6...and I spent the day not doing that much of much.....slow and easy.....and got a good workout in.....day 6 of the pilates challenges was legit.....and I did my regular workout too and grabbed a run in the freezing cold.....but it felt good.....I did do some laundry, went to Key Foods to grab a few things we needed before the squall, and just spent the day doing my thing....and I have said it before and will again......while I did not choose this....and my first choice would be to have my kids all of the time, every single time......the weekends I am on my own have grown on me some, and they make me feel guilty too some.....knowing so many moms out there could use the room to catch their breath too.....and I remember once upon a time feeling a little ragged at points....and I wish I had taken more time for myself.....or maybe just more intentional time.....instead of feeling guilt for the rare date night, or weekend away.....I believe now it is necessary....so I have been forced into this position, and I do my best to make the most of it and accept it now.....and use it to recharge my batteries and keep myself keeping on.....Today we are off and I have a refrigerator being delivered....mine broke last week....and they had good sales at Lowe's this weekend, I went Saturday with my mom to look......and I opted for the non bells and whistles one....a super good price, affordable.....all that we need.....it is a good looking fridge too, but has a standard older style freezer and will work just fine for what we need.....I have a freezer in the garage, a big one, so it was all that I needed:) I will be happy to get rid of the other one....It has been leaking underneath for a bit......And I am excited to have another day today with my kids, and by the looks of it potentially another one tomorrow......I need to work on some school stuff, and organize their clothes, and some chores.....I will make a nice dinner and cozy in....it is supposed to be cold today.....I have my sign up sheet ready to roll for my series.....worked on that yesterday.....and am excited to get that going.....and I have been encouraged, my doing reels now with my videos, has been beneficial in driving traffic to my business site, and my blog etc so that has been exciting.....remember the marketing and branding of me not my favorite part lol:) I love to do my blog and my videos, but never quite know how to get myself out there fully, but I am working on it, and getting better and better at it:) So this weekend was lovely and restful.....I got to connect with a friend and do the things I love, and recharge and regroup! It is a blessing indeed:) Happy Monday! :)
